A SUN has won Best Foreign Language Feature of the 14th Houston Film Critics Society Awards.
A SUN swept the 56th Golden Horse Awards in Taiwan, winning Best Narrative Feature, Best Director, Best Leading Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Film Editing and Audience Choice Award after its festival run in Toronto, Busan and Tokyo. The film has been selected as Taiwan’s official submission to Best International Feature category of the 93rd Academy Awards. It can be the latest Taiwanese film to make the Oscars shortlist since SEEDIQ BALE in 2012.
A SUN is now streaming on Netflix.
