The 57th Golden Horse Awards nominations have been announced. Produced and financed by MandarinVision, My Missing Valentine leads the competition with 11 nods in the categories of Best Narrative Feature, Director, Leading Actor, Leading Actress, Original Screenplay, Cinematography, Visual Effects, Art Direction, Film Editing, Sound Effects and Original Film Song. Classmates Minus, another MandarinVision presentation, follows with 9 nominations, in directing, acting, screenplay and other technical categories. MandarinVision also finances A Leg, which garners 4 nominations, including Best Leading Actress and Supporting Actor.

MandarinVision handles the international film festival submission for The Silent Forest, Ms. Ko Chen-nien’s debut feature, which collects 8 nominations, including Best New Director, Supporting Actor, New Performer, Original Screenplay, Art Direction, Original Film Score, Film Editing and Sound Effects.

MandarinVision has in total received 32 Golden Horse Awards nominations this year.

The awarding ceremony will be held on November 21st at National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in Taipei, Taiwan.
